i'm in a group show at stairwell gallery, opening april 6th... probably around 6pm. stairwell is located at 504 broadway in providence. also in the show are aki goto, joseph buzzel, masaru aikawa, mat brinkman, tetsunori tawaraya, and tomoko kokubo. i'm showing new stuff that nobody has seen yet! i think there's performances the night of the opening.

there's a couple things coming up in december... on sunday december 9th i'll be selling some needlepoint bling at the Bazaar Bizarre in Boston. check the links for the details on that. also, i'll be selling some bling at La Superette in NYC. that will be a several day, temporary store type thing and will be open december 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th. there will probably be some kinda opening event on the 1st. also i tweaked some deign stuff on the site... yep.

my oscillator cabinets are in a show called "on the record" @ Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts. It opens this thursday, the 28th 6-8pm. also, a new iteration of my software project is in a show called "Rumors" at Current Gallery. That one opens saturday july 14th 7-10pm. hope you can make it :)

i just put up documentation of my thesis exhibition. it's filed under "display" check it out. also, my computer is basicly finished! the software and hardware still need some minor tweaking, but it's in a fully functional finished looking state. check it out here

i took down a bunch of old work and replaced it with a whole lot of new work. i had been holding off on putting this new stuff up because most of it is in progress, but i decided it made sense to put it up because it's what i'm most excitied about right now. i'll be updating the project pages as they progress. i also tweaked the design a bit on this page, and a lot on the rest of the site. enjoy, and let me know if you experience any errors.

lots of re-design and re-organization. simplified taxonomy. also, new work under fibers and display. would it make sense to have a works in progress category? i made a separate little page for this big project, but i'm going to re-design it in january so it's much more of a blog-ish community space where people can interact and contribute. it's going to be an open-source project, so i'll be posting software/source code as well as step by step instructions for the computer mods/hacks i'll be doing.

be a part of my print project! i made a whole bunch of postcards and i'm going to be using them in an installation here at alfred. the theme of the piece is "sun fun". submit any text or images that represent your interpretation of "sun fun" and they will be printed onto a postcard and used in the installation. the submissions don't necisarily have to be your own creation, so feel free to use found text or found images. additionally the text box is monospaced, so ASCII art is another option. go crazy with this and have fun!>

march 22nd there will be a (free) benefit show for the moka joka (alfred university's non-profit/student run coffee shop). extreme animals as well as various other paper rad bands will be playing music and there will be hand crafted things for sale. the show will be happening on the 2nd floor of harder hall in the area of the student gallery/moka joka. the adress for harder hall is 2 pine street alfred, ny 14802. come out and show your support for good music and local business. email me for directions
